I was just thinking about that... first thing come to mind is that I need StarLink satellite internet (said to have at least 100Mbps 20ms latency). Electricity wise, I'm not running server farm out there. Solar, wind, geothermal, even gas generators should be fine.
- Scoundreller 6y agoStarlink draws about 100w without much variation unless you shut it off completely.
- BHSPitMonkey 6y agoMaybe in the future they'll be able to offer a lower-power user terminal meant for mobile installations (RVs/boats/etc.)? There might be some opportunity there to reduce energy usage at the cost of some speed.
