A Personal Note
With disbelief I am seeing here comments, protecting the free speech rights of fascist traitors.
Let me be very clear on this:
- Free speech ends where hate speech begins
- Hate speech is when part of the population is being attacked based on their gender, skin color, religion, sexual orientation, or disability
Fascists and incels are not my colleagues and I don't want either to work with them nor have any even distant business relationship with them.
Everybody who has a spine needs to speak up against such people. They need to be let go, or decent people need to leave companies run by them. They can work on Trump's new social media, smartphone. and cloud platforms if they please. But not in the same company as me.
TL/DR: Hate speech is not free speech!
- rosmax_1337 6y agoDefining the opposition as "hate" and banning "hate" is going to be the end of the current establishment, it is so blatantly a b-s rhetorical move. I also don't mind them losing, the world needs to change and reboot big time.
- de6u99er 6y agoI gave you the definition of hate speech. And it has nothing to do with what you are trying to spin it into. Your line of argumentation is typical. Because BLM activists went to the street to fight against racially motivated disproportionate police violence the Rght constantly tries to justify overthrowing an election result. Those two things are not the same! What happened on January 6th at the Capitol is not just a protest. Treason is the word that comes to my mind.
- rosmax_1337 6y agoThe election result is disputed. Hello!
- de6u99er 6y agoProve it!
- de6u99er 6y agoYeah, I thought so. Why don't you show us where you get your alternative facts from? Can it be you're afraid, because deep down you know it's wrong?
- rosmax_1337 6y agoI'm tired of linking things to people like you just to have them be taken down due to various kinds of reports. So I think I'll pass on that. Besides, the fact that it is disputed is undeniable. Which side you fall on is irrelevant for this argument.
- theandrewbailey 6y ago> Fascists and incels are not my colleagues and I don't want either to work with them nor have any even distant business relationship with them. The solution to hate speech is better arguments. Division creates social bubbles and radicalization. You aren't solving the problem; you're making it worse.
- selfhoster11 6y agoBetter arguments will not work when the hate speech spreaders disregard all arguments contrary to their existing notions. I am not sure how to solve, or contain, this problem in the short term.
- de6u99er 6y agoYou can't argue with crazy, right?
- de6u99er 6y agoIgnoring hate speech leads to division. We've seen it numerous times already. Last example is Twitter employees forcing Jack to ban Trump from Twitter. Decent people are speaking up more and more. And this will not go away until companies do something about hate speech.
- raxxorrax 6y agoThe term incel was coined by a women who wasn't able to find a partner and shared her situation anonymously. Still very brave. There are some but few real fascists in the US, you fell for propaganda from your own country. Having a spine doesn't mean to share a tantrum with random angry people. Please concentrate on fixing your educational system, the results seem lacking. Thank you very much and good fortune to you.
