That is a good point. How much is enough should ideally be asked for someone in late 30's, 40's or early 50's. The assumption is being able to live off net worth without compromising on lifestyle.
Can someone tell, what is considered a decent net worth these days? ( Keeping the above point in mind)
- throwaway18678 6y agoIt’s going to vary a lot depending on where you live and other lifestyle factors. The rule of thumb I have heard is take your yearly expenses and multiply by 25. That should yield enough income from investments to last more or less indefinitely.
