you feel compelled to type the following in your terminal to learn more
about the open game designer position.
$ ssh jobs.hackclub.com
- pabloarteel 6y agossh: connect to host jobs.hackclub.com port 22: Connection refused
- zachlatta 6y agoTry now! I just restarted to load some minor code changes.
- worldmerge 6y agoHi, I love the concept and think it's really cool! How did you do the console printing with the Cat command. Did you intercept it, print the "meow", then call Cat on the file?
- zachlatta 6y agoThe entire app is actually an SSH server implemented entirely within Go. The different commands are all manually simulated in Go, there is no shelling out possible because of security concerns. The code is all open source at https://github.com/hackclub/jobs https://github.com/hackclub/jobs. It's the same concept I used for https://github.com/zachlatta/sshtron https://github.com/zachlatta/sshtron.
- worldmerge 6y agoThat is amazing! > https://github.com/zachlatta/sshtron https://github.com/zachlatta/sshtron That is super cool!
- jonatron 6y agoThat put a huge smile on my face, I hope you find someone!
- npmaile 6y agothat was fun
- Kaze404 6y agoWhat a wholesome project. Applying to this was incredibly fun.
- anonymous9874 6y agostatler ~$ ssh jobs.hackclub.com Unable to negotiate with 96.126.108.99 port 22: no matching host key type found. Their offer: ssh-rsa statler ~$
- zachlatta 6y agoMaybe something with the settings of your SSH client? The server only has an ssh-rsa key in it, so if your client is configured to not accept that, then that might be the source of the problem. Sorry :-/. Wish I had a better idea. Would greatly appreciate any ideas.
- scott31 6y agoUpgrade your ssh server and use better encryption, you should have stopped using RSA about 15 years ago. On a different note, you deservedly will only be receiving mediocre applications since anyone technical enough will pass on after seeing this mess.
- zachlatta 6y agoPRs welcome at https://github.com/hackclub/jobs https://github.com/hackclub/jobs!
- ggerules 6y agoThat was fun. Good luck to you.
- luc_ 6y agoWOW! That made my day.
- the_arun 6y agoNicely done! A nice example of creativity meets technology! Congrats!
