I don't think you're being hyperbolic, the ruinously bad updates broke my addiction to reddit too. The charitable take is that they made it deliberately shit to drive adoption of their official app. If it's not that, then they must be hilariously incompetent.
- ilaksh 6y agoI cannot view new messages on mobile without putting Chrome in Desktop Mode. In mobile view it always shows me the same old moderator message instead of new ones. Since it's been like that for so long, I have to assume it's deliberate. Some executive at Reddit decided they were going to try to break things to force people into the app.
