> Verkada board chairman Hans Robertson has said publicly that he intentionally hired a team of “sales athletes,” and Verkada’s strategy is to “make the culture really fun.” Surveillance is not fun, it is serious business and doesn't deserve a "fun" culture. I guess from a surveilor business' point of view it is a rather effective way to numb the inner critic of your employees.
