Does, I don't even know, the UN(?) need to send in election overseers or something? How is this even possible?

  Just wait until you go to your polls on election day and find armed "militia" there to keep an eye on you. I wish I were kidding. As for this specific case, the California govenment has ordered them removed. Unfortunately the linked site (https://wevotesafely.org/ https://wevotesafely.org/) was incorrect for my county. We currently have early voting in one location (not the single location indicated, a few blocks off), and will have 6 locations (around 100K in the county) on 11/3 and anyone can vote at any location (not the usual policy and less than the usual number of locations.)

  I emailed a report including sources for correct information and received a reply thanking me for the report.
