I suppose it wouldn't help much to tell them that, even had they been attending classes in person and gaining the benefits of cohabitation, they would still be getting financially destroyed by a broken system. This is really just shining a harsher light on what was already there. I feel for these students for the _additional_ pain they have to endure.
