- IshKebab 6y agoThe debugging story is pretty great already. Honestly that expression stuff he is talking about is pretty niche and very rarely works except for toy examples even in C++. Debugging Rust code in VSCode with Rust-analyzer and LLDB works pretty flawlessly for me, and it understands and displays all the types/values in the GUI so you don't really need expression evaluation.
- pjmlp 6y agoApparently I use plenty of toy examples on .NET, JShell, VSC++ immediate debugger and WinDBG consoles.
