Radiation Levels on the Moon Are Alarmingly High
- raxxorrax 6y ago> 1,369 microsieverts per day. That would be equivalent to eating ~13,690 bananas. It is not an accumulative dose though, so you would have to stuff them a bit. Radiation workers in the US are allowed to get 50,000µSv per year, so it certainly is a relevant exposure. But if they only stay two weeks, it would still be just about one chest X-ray.
