What does exclusive mean here? I thought the API was gonna be open.

  This is unclear to me too. Maybe by "exclusive" they mean: exclusive from other big-tech companies? The pricing page has not disappeared on my beta.

  My guess is that it means Microsoft is the only one that gets direct access to use the model itself, everyone else is forced to go indirectly through the OpenAI api, with all of the limitations that entails.

  me too, I guess API will still keep opening for commercial use, the business in the news is non of our businesses.
