Actually firefox is faster at javascrupt that chrome.

  That's like saying that emacs's LISP interpreter is faster than vim's vimscript interpreter.... Yeah, so what? The performance-critical parts of vim are written in C. You can't say that about emacs. Or firefox.

    Why not? Firefox is mostly C, C++ and Rust.

    Webpages run faster in Firefox, that's why.

    The performance critical parts of emacs actually are written in C, such as the low-level primitive functions.
