I like Jitsi better than Zoom. No install needed. Only thing is that it makes my CPU run hot. Any reason you think Zoom is better?

Can't dial in to Jitsi *(without some additional setup)

        Fair enough.

Actually, you can: https://github.com/jitsi/jigasi https://github.com/jitsi/jigasi Needs some setup, but if you are using Jitsi that seems reasonable

My university uses Blackboard Collab, its a pretty solid solution imho and apparently integrates nicely into Moodle.

Jitsi running on matrix/riot/element works pretty well IME. Dunno if schools would be able to provide the necessary HW/funding for full day streaming though.

Webex. No temporary unmute. Can’t see myself, why can’t I be a full size panel? Jisti. Can’t dial in. Utterly useless for anyone with bad internet for this reason.

    > Jisti. Can’t dial in. Utterly useless for anyone with bad internet for this reason. You can dial in (at least for a call on https://meet.jit.si https://meet.jit.si - I don't about self-hosted instances). Click the person symbol ('Invite more people') in the bottom-right of the window, and a modal dialog will appear with a phone number and PIN code to enter. If you click 'more numbers' you will be shown alternative phone numbers for many countries (UK, US, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Switzerland).
