My house, my car (not a Tesla), and my fridge are all amenable to 3rd-party repairs. As is my phone. The fact that "most big companies" want to a monopoly doesn't make it acceptable.
- 2fast4you 6y agoFalse equivalence; your house, car, and fridge are not subject to the same pressures to be increasingly smaller. Modern consumer tech is expected to get smaller with each generation.
- solarkraft 6y agoMaking a smaller product doesn't require active hostility towards people who want to repair it.
