I don't think these practices scale well. One person becomes the default "migration person" (with processes that are likely not as well documented as Django) and the team becomes reliant on tribal knowledge.
- nikisweeting 6y agoHow is that different from one person becoming the default "migration person" on a team that doesn't use Django?
- Daishiman 6y agoThe difference is that Stack Overflow has a ton of answers to even fairly complicated questions and that reading the Django docs is an order of magnitude easier than delving into some random person's badly written code.
