But so far, it feels like he is a bit alone, with a few old industrial/regulatory interests behind him, but it's not clear whether it will plainly fall flat and fail, or if it will take momentum. The same thing happened with the StopCovid French app. The same thing happened also with the "sovereign cloud" platform in France. The same thing happened too with the Hadopi thing (sort of a monitoring/controlling body to prevent peer-2-peer media piracy). Somehow the same thing happened with a recent shutdown of a nuclear power plant in the objective of lowering CO2 production. "The same thing" = absurd, poorly thought, poorly motivated and poorly executed ideas.
