Well, I am very rarely called a moron but whem it happens and it comes from someone who knows what they are talking about it's the fastest way to get the point across and get me to reevaluate. It only breeds resentment among people who have their ego married to their beliefs. That might be most people but among those with a bit of intellectual honesty and curiosity being calling someone a moron or an idiot about something is the the best way to convey "you should really think about it more instead of making a full out of yourself" sentiment. I always appreciate someone doing it to me and being right. It saves a lot of time and pointless arguing. You just have to be right. Preferably don't be a jerk about it in the future as well.
