What is a Bloomberg terminal made of? A windows exe and a keyboard? I thought it was the whole machine?

Bloomberg terminal is no longer a physical thing (except for a custom keyboard with integrated fingerprint reader and function keys) and runs on generic Windows.

They used to be custom machines. Now they are just what you say, software and a keyboard.
