Mozilla VPN Goes Live ... But Not for Linux Users
- raxxorrax 6y agoWireguard has inherent privacy problems compared to other VPN solution. Does Mozilla address this problem? Because the standard implementation is not anonymous. It is fast with some disadvantages...
- PaulHoule 6y agoIsn't the point of vpns (from the operator pov) to concentrate sketchy traffic to make it easier to monitor?
- raxxorrax 6y agoYes, it can be. But I think operators should be smart enough to know that their customers are looking for privacy.
- rodrigo26 6y ago> Wireguard has inherent privacy problems compared to other VPN solution What privacy problems does Wireguard have, compared to other VPNs like OpenVPN or IPSEC ?
- raxxorrax 6y agoThe server needs to store the IP of the user for extended periods of time to offer the speed benefit. Some providers have workarounds though and of course they could still log access with openvpn too.
