Picked up my Y two weeks ago. Build quality overall was great. One cosmetic nit that I had fixed under warranty. This is a Life changing car. Put 1100 miles on

This is a Life changing car. Put 1100 miles on it already and no plan to stop.
I cannot see anyone in my house buying a non-Tesla car ever again.
It was like going from a Blackbery to an iPhone times 100.
- kasey_junk 6y agoI did a Chicago <—> central mi camping trip this weekend. How do you a) handle charging in that case (given 120 RV hookups) and b) haulage?
- brianwawok 6y agoHi Kasey! So the included mobile adaptor needs a little dongle to hook up to an RV charger. You can’t use a standard dogbone, as Tesla charges hot to hot. In a standard dogbone that would be 0V. Easy to make your own, or the paid version is https://www.evseadapters.com/products/tt-30-adapter-for-tesla-model-s-x-3-gen-2/ https://www.evseadapters.com/products/tt-30-adapter-for-tesl... For hauling a small trailer, the Y can have a hitch added for $1000. 3500 pounds towing capacity gives you a few choices. For a huge huge trailer you would need to wait for a Cybertruck.
