This goes right up there with "the backdoor for which only we'll have the key".
- mirkules 6y agoIf a system’s purpose is to protect citizens from bad actors, it is only a matter of time before the citizens become suspected bad actors, and the machinery is turned against the citizens. This is a concept that is sadly missing in well-intentioned people.
- pbhjpbhj 6y agoSounds more like "if you get caught using this then you'll need to use a third-party to purchase it and we're going to charge you extra", but perhaps that's too cynical.
