GitHub drops “master” and “slave” terms amidst BLM backlash
- bloak 6y agoWhen has GitHub used the term "slave"? (Not a rhetorical question: there are many aspects of GitHub that I am not familiar with.)
- foolzcrow 6y agoOnly morons think the master/slave paradim is racist. Some black people onwed slaves. Maybe CNN rules your neurons. Im not white and my ancestors were slaves. This only bothers weak people.
- mister_hn 6y agonow I'm waiting for dropping the word "master" from things like: - Master Chef - Chessmaster - Master's Degree - ATP Masters - MasterClass and so on...this is so ridiculous.
- jaclaz 6y agoDon't forget MasterCard. BTW I personally find Visa offensive to immigrants.
