Care to share why? I'd like to help, but the trouble is how am I sure that the money goes to the pockets of people who need it and not to some CEO's holiday?

- tribby 6y agotax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofits in the US are required to file IRS form 990[1] which sheds some light on the financials of the organization. it doesn't mean that the organization is run efficiently or puts money to good use, but it does increase transparency[2] 1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Form_990 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Form_990 2. https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/ https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/
- renewiltord 6y agoYeah, to be clear, I'm not demanding it of you. If you just happen to know of something then I'm hoping you'll share. And yes, but slightly more. I want to know that the carbon credits are real, i.e. that I'm actually offsetting.
