Have class-D amplifiers changed much since that time period?
- amelius 6y agoClass D amplifiers have benefited a lot from better FETs [1]. But note that class D amplifiers are mainly applicable to relatively low frequencies. Perfect for audio, but not adequate above this range, see e.g. [2].
