If you were starting a project now, would you choose PHP or Hack?
- akie 6y agoWhy would anyone choose Hack? There's no ecosystem to speak of.
- ac42 6y agoHack is interesting and the native C++ interface is a breeze. But choose PHP if you want to live. Hack has only a fraction of the PHP ecosystem and if you mix with PHP, then you lose the advantages very quickly.
- Ayesh 6y agoPHP. Most of the Hack features are now in PHP core, and more and more libraries are dropping support for hhvm now.
- Supermancho 6y agoI do, when I can.
- tasuki 6y agoNo.
