  Most of this thread: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=23428326 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=23428326 HN has been posting and upvoting dreadful reports on job losses and economic destruction for weeks. Now there is a massive positive event and HN is disinterested and cynical about it, maybe even outright hostile (look at the vote vs comment ratio, a tell). Obviously some prefer a lockdown forever strategy.
