I’ve used Transit and Google Maps and to me Transit’s suggestions are closer to how a human considers transit options. Google Maps seem strangely over optimized for things like minimum walking at the beginning of the route. Plus the Google Maps “how far away the bus is” doesn’t update based on new data (from the city bus trackers or crowdsourced data) unless you close the app and re open
