- azinman2 7y agoIt wasnt that word that killed glass...
- hirundo 7y agoI would be glad to be a designated glasshole in return for a decent and affordable AR device to put on my face. Like, "shut up and take my money!" If you build it me and my fellow nerds will be waiting in line.
- seanmcdirmid 7y agoI don’t think so. They just didn’t find the tech ready for a useful experience yet.
- Fezzik 7y agoI don’t think that nomenclature had anything to do with glass failing as a consumer product - the glasses simply did not fulfill any need or desire that would lead to mass consumer adoption at their price point. When the iPad came out Apple was pilloried by the press and Twitter dummies for releasing a product that sounded like a feminine hygiene product. It didn’t hurt the product at all.
