- adventured 7y agoWe'll put a lot of money, globally, into faster testing and vaccine creation technology. Some of that is occurring right now. Bill Gates estimates we can cut the time required to create and test vaccines in half with a relatively modest investment. We'll boost stockpiles of medical gear. In the US the Federal Government will hand out long-term contracts to gear makers, to maintain far higher mandatory domestic supply levels (for items such as ventilators, N95 masks, and so on). States, to the extent they can do it, will boost their stockpiles.
