The paper you linked shows that one Haskell implementation does not exactly correspond to a specific algorithm, then gives an alternative definition which does correspond. What does that have to do with the statement 'Haskell is not math'?
- ForHackernews 7y agoIt's a salient example of functional programming pretending to demonstrate an elegant expression of pure mathematics in code, while actually being nothing of the sort.
