My district uses that excuse, and the logical answer is to swap elementary and high school start times.
In my district the HS start is 7:20, middle at 8:05, elementary at 9:00.
Any parent will tell you 9:00 is a crazy late time of the morning for a kindergartener.
- jessaustin 7y agoI would wonder whether anyone who willingly created such a backwards schedule could be fit to run a school, except I've met the people who run the public schools in this country...
