- pbhjpbhj 7y agoIt's news to me, I thought you needed (in the UK) a phone number to register with Google. They send you a text message as part of onboarding (or did last I tried). That's common to most online social apps now, perhaps all of them?
- NotSammyHagar 7y agothey have a kind of dark login pattern where it looks like you have to use phone number but you don't have to at least in my country.
