You think this is schizophrenic paranoia? No, I'm serious about it. sctb/pg even talked to me in person and can confirm it.

- sneak 7y agoI don’t know if it is or not. By its very nature, it’s possible that neither do you. That’s the issue with delusions, they are indistinguishable from reality. You should suffer no harm by seeking a professional opinion on the matter.
- lainon 7y agoNo, I'm not delusional or schizophrenic, but I'll agree asking serious advice on this topic on Hacker News is a stupid idea. Anyways, I'm serious about the OP and have even been bothered by Secret agencies before IRL.
- sneak 7y agoEvery single person in the world has some delusions. No one is exempt.
- boofgod 7y agoYes, this I absolutely think this is schizophrenic paranoia.
- sneak 7y agoSeveral things can cause paranoid delusions that aren’t schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder, including even sufficiently sustained sleep deprivation. Let’s not try to diagnose anyone here and just get them pointed in the right direction for answers.
- DoctorOetker 7y agowhat does sctb / pg stand for?
- ChrisGranger 7y agoThe first one is a Hacker News moderator and the second is Paul Graham, a Y Combinator co-founder. https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=sctb https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=sctb https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=pg https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=pg
