- nradov 7y agoUsed luxury cars have also become less reliable and more extensive to maintain. The mechanical and especially the electrical parts have become more complex and failure prone. Potential buyers understand that even a minor problem out of warranty will cost thousands to repair, so I suspect that's another factor in lower used car prices.
