How is this our fault?
- notatoad 7y agoEverything is our fault. Haven't you been paying attention?
- chadlavi 7y agoI've been too busy eating avocado toast and taking out more student loans

- reaperducer 7y ago"I eat Tide Pods and I vote."
- e40 7y agoAccording to my millennial son, boomers screwed up everything.
- Ididntdothis 7y agoExactly!
- OrangeMango 7y agoThe boomers knew you'd blame them, so they preemptively blamed the silent generation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFTLKWw542g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFTLKWw542g
- entelechy0 7y agoOk boomer
- chadlavi 7y agoThis kid gets it
- dhagz 7y agoI agree. It's the other generation's (or multiple other generations's) fault.
- nutjob2 7y agoAnd Gen-Xers sit between the two, utterly blameless. Not that we care.
- slater 7y agoI do believe the author was making a joke.
- jlv2 7y agoI don't. But I like the statement.
- xer0x 7y agoSnake people.
- anon73044 7y agoI believe it's a play on the "Millenials are ruining X" trope
- thesquib 7y agoI thought this was very funny
- SamuelAdams 7y agoThis was a joke, but I wouldn't be surprised if Unix usage started declining. I work at a University, and most incoming freshmen (for CS) don't understand what a filesystem is. Their primary computing device is their phone or a tablet, both of which don't require them to use files.
- jsight 7y agoTo be fair, I think most incoming freshmen at my university barely knew what a file was back in the mid 90s. None knew anything about UNIX or Linux. Things are at least mildly better now.
- saagarjha 7y agoMany incoming freshman can't tell the difference between UNIX and Linux. Or, come to think of it, graduating students…
- fit2rule 7y agoWhen you choose to ignore the wisdom of the generations before you, and re-invent "solutions" to problems people who understand the situation never had, you get blamed for screwing things up.
