Politically I will always be against policies that attempt to reduce unemployment. It's counter productive. Jobs is not a good metric. There are way too many subsidies to sustain wage slavery. I'm not against capitalism, but fighting unemployment has not reduced inequality. The UBI, even at a low amount, would enable a much more virtuous labor economy.
