I think it will not be difficult for anybody to siphon that data, and I don't know how one could prevent it, and it would be nice to see it done without complicated solutions. I think twitter could be biased. I don't know if a law like GDPR would prevent it. If it doesn't, there should be law forbidding entities to gather data.
