My wife and some female co-workers have said something similar. They said that when they see men get in disagreements, it normally escalates very quickly, but once the conflict is resolved it's like it never happened. They said the opposite happens with female employees, where the "conflict" never gets as intense, but it can go on for years with both sides not wanting to help each other.
- usrusr 7y agoMight be related to how boys' play tends to be (I think) more often explicitly about selecting winners and losers, so most men are quite accustomed to defeat. Feminism, when it laments about how men are brought up into dominance roles, is conveniently ignoring all those men who did learn that lesson.
- dvfjsdhgfv 7y agoThis is basically the most important single point tacitly ignored by the most vocal feminist activists. E.g. if there is psychopath male who is hurting people, he is hurting both males and females alike, although maybe in different ways. And there are are more male psychopaths and aggressive men than women. But this does NOT equal "women are the victims of men".
