  When you put it that way, it seems actually like it would be hard and messy to deploy in any detail. The thing about a lot of machine learning tools is they can get better and better over a period of a decade and yet still remain undeployable - see self-driving cars. I mean, the hypothetical suspect situation would like be extremely messy and getting a clear scan to deploy this seems implausible. General purpose surveillance would probably just use cameras intended for the purpose.
