  Seconded. Eve's server architecture is amazing given the original constraints of the network... they managed to find a way to make a single worldwide server work and to make the game treat everyone fairly no matter what their ping was. The architecture used has limitations (the biggest one is that fps-style real time isn't really possible) but it's aged very well.
