I think you'll be disappointed, tyre and air noise doesn't change much at speed with electric cars.
- tiborsaas 7y agoMaybe close to highways, but it's not my experience with electric cars. In cities they tend to travel slowly and thus minimal turbulence and tire noise.
- imtringued 7y agoTime spent producing noise in a given location decreases with speed. The worst thing in terms of noise is not a car passing by every 10 seconds. It's a bus idling for 2 minutes in front of you.
- pjc50 7y agoWe now have hybrid buses that shut off at idle. Simple and effective noise reduction.

- r00fus 7y agoMany electric cars have a much lower drag. This means lower noise.
