- zxcb1 7y agoWhy can't they match your passport to your Facebook profile?
- mxcrossb 7y agoMaybe this is overly cynical, but I think they can. Otherwise everyone could just claim they don’t have an account. But this kind of policy deters people from wanting to visit or immigrate to the US, which is this administrations real goal.
- zxcb1 7y agoThey have the data. Maybe they want to catch liars instead of just an algorithmic risk score?
- d33 7y agoExactly my thinking. What would they like to validate my identity then? Log into my GMail? Smaller communities like, say, HN?
