IME high-school teachers (my parents, wifes parents, and all my parents friends are teachers) could always predict the grade a student would get -- though sometimes public predictions were given differently as a motivator "you need to put a bit more effort in to get a C [minimum pass many employers used to look for]". Maybe if you're seeking objectivity?
