Several years back I bought a whole lot of broken test equipment dirt cheap and fixed about 75% of it and resold for a nice profit. Almost everything was fixed with new capacitors. A few years back my oven died suddenly. I popped open the cover and went through all the electrolytics with my ESR meter and found a bad one.
