- thefounder 8y agoA portable binary like wasm makes deployment easier and potentially makes it more secure/easier to sandbox.
- richardwhiuk 8y agoMakes deployment harder surely? Now you need to both ship the wasm runner and the compiled code of the executable?
- amelius 8y agoYou can still ship your native code. So you have two options instead of one.
- thefounder 8y agoThe host is supposed to support wasm and most hosts will do.
- int_19h 8y agoProjects like this one are the first step towards native wasm support on OS level across major platforms. It'll happen, the only question is how soon.
- rkangel 8y agoYou can, if you've written it in Rust/Go. If you write in a another language, then you don't have to have a compiler (or VM) that supports multiple platforms, you just compile to WASM, and this would sort it out.
