- dalyons 8y agoWhy?
- fencepost 8y agoMaybe because it's included with Office365 Business Premium (local Office + Exchange/Onedrive/Sharepoint/Teams, etc) or O365 Business Essentials (just the online services)? It's also included with E1/E3/E5 on the Enterprise side. So basically if you're using any of the MS products that include online services you get it free. If you're not, you can get Teams for $5/month/user and get Exchange and online storage thrown in free (vs $6.67-12.50/month/user for Slack depending on your compliance and reporting needs). If nothing else, there may be pressure to "try what we're already paying for anyway and see if it's good enough," and while there's at least one other comment about how bad it is, I'm pretty sure a lot of the Microsoft online services have been improving at a pretty decent clip.
- LandR 8y agoWe use MS Teams. It's always having to reconnect, the history doesn't work well, notifications are unreliable. IT's just terrible IME
- sngz 8y agothat's been the opposite of my experience. You described slack for me and MS Teams UI was much more friendly to use.
