You are genralizing here, not everyone who is from India works for the body shops you’ve mentioned. The body shops like TCS, Wipro etc exist because the rules allow it, they use temporary visas like B1 and L they try to get H1 but rarely do - outsourcing is different from immigration
- diogenescynic 8y agoYou’re not even supposed to work on a B1... but of course that’s often abused. Pay someone in India to come work in the US for a few weeks/months... yeah that’s not really what I want either. They should be banned because they are a drain on the wages to the average worker and they’re used to bring over workers they can abuse, intimidate, over work, and under pay while stringing them along for a green card. It’s a scam that only benefits the billionaires.
