I would consider Death the highest possible bar there is.

- imtringued 8y agoBut it is guaranteed to happen eventually for all humans and therefore the debt is guaranteed to be discharged for every student. But I don't think most people who are struggling to repay their student loan are in their 70s so there is no risk of elderly people dying all at once and leaving the government stranded with the huge debt.
