Torture and abhorrent behavior is not exclusive to Nazis. How many other intelligence agencies have used barbaric tactics to extract information to keep their homeland safe? I just don't see the direct connection - doesn't make it any less wrong, I just don't see the evidence that it's directly influenced by this connection.

  MK ULTRA was a Nazi program that continued in the CIA. The development of Agent Orange: same. Modern torture techniques? Yes, same deal. The Nazi's escaped and made America their new playground. This is why we have had endless war and crimes against humanity being committed by the people of the USA .. for decades now ..

    Germany is where ~99% of all former Nazis lived after the war. So why hasn't Germany been spending their time invading all of their neighbors and genociding peoples? Why aren't they by far the most militaristic nation of the post WW2 era? It's because your premise is false.

      Our failure to come to an understanding over this, admittedly inflammatory issue, may be because you think to me "Nazi" means "Germans", and of course literally it does. But in the outraged claim that "America is the 4th Reich", kthxbai, there is a curious position you perhaps would not have considered .. the crimes against humanity committed by America and its allies, on the basis of entirely projected (i.e. not defensive) power, is pretty much what the Nazi's would be doing - dropping bombs on innocent people with impunity - were they still here today, speaking German. I care not iota that America are the new oppressors. I care, really, that the oppression is occurring. The new American boot is just as heinous as the old German ones were.
