Why buy a MacBook Pro for $2k+ when you can get by with a ChromeBook for $150?
- matwood 8y agoI tend to spend 8+ hours/day in front of my computer. I spend 30 minutes to an hour in my car each day, and I would prefer zero. That is why.

- steelframe 8y agoI have both a MacBook Pro and a Chromebook (Samsung Pro). The Chromebook has quickly become my go-to computer, and I never feel like I'm just "getting by" on it. I also replaced a LEAF with a Tesla. Ever since doing that, my girlfriend has been asking to go back to the LEAF, because it got the job done just fine and wasn't complicated.
- weavie 8y agoReplace ChromeBook with second hand Thinkpad and you have a very valid question (in my opinion).
